Our client is a data-driven marketing agency with expert media planning and buying capabilities, among other services that include shopper marketing, marketing innovation and content activation. They have taken a unique approach to media, using innovation and new technology that sets them apart. They have recently secured one of the largest entertainment accounts in the industry. Their goal is to continue to plan and manage audiences, holistic frequency control, maintain a clean supply chain, and deliver against both business needs and marketing KPIs.

As a Senior Negotiator (OOH), you excel at media planning and buying in the out-of-home space. You have the ability to carry out strategy through structuring and planning with excellent client stewardship capabilities.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the account service and OOH media buying for large client account, which includes planning, negotiating, buying and operations processes
  • ​Establishing investment best practices (intelligence/arbitrage), spend trends (video, display, mobile, etc.), benchmarking, and set market
  • Lead media team on the media planning/investment process for OOH
  • ​Understand and design – provide insights into consumers, brand, product and media and identify behaviors, barriers, drivers and apertures
  • Create and capitalize – develop communication strategies, create specific tangible executional ideas and bring activity schedule to life; encompass negotiation strategies and implementation of the buy
  • Train and educate and delegate work to Assistant Negotiators on industry, planning and buying process, account service skills and day to day activities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with agencies, clients, vendors and internal teams and handle any client requests - i.e. plan or budget changes, market intelligence
What you bring:
  • 2 - 4+ years of experience with successful OOH specific planning/buying - experience in other areas of media buying is fine as long as OOH has been recent and an area of expertise for you
  • ​Solid negotiation skills and tactics
  • Experience with larger accounts with greater spending power
  • Client facing experience
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications
  • Training/mentoring experience is a plus
  • Experience with large entertainment accounts is a plus
