Our client has created a collaboration and project management platform that empowers development teams to work together, including multinational technology companies across the U.S.

Their product is a collaboration solution that ties features directly into GitHub, and allows developers to focus on their workflow without any disturbance from queues: entries, or priorities to manage. Their solution simplifies the process and enables developers to focus on creating and releasing great products. 
Our client is looking to add a Vice President of Marketing and Growth to the team to own marketing strategies with a focus on developing tactics that will result in driving growth, awareness and adoption. In this role, you will be reporting to reporting to the Co-founder and Head of Strategic Accounts. You will have the opportunity to construct strategic approaches on how to new engage teams, interface with customers and generate resources that advocates the benefits of aligning coding, project management and collaboration. 

Vice President of Marketing and Growth

What you will be doing:
  • Developing a marketing strategy from end to end that includes go-to-market approach that will assist with achieving the team’s goals
  • Cultivating our client’s positioning, messaging, and branding to inform their audience of developers and enterprises
  • Developing, measuring and optimizing the marketing channel mix, with a focus on organic growth strategies that speak natively to their customers
  • Shaping product strategy and product launches through utilizing data, positioning and messaging to increase reach and adoption
  • Fostering approaches through product education, training, and collateral that the go-to-market team can use to onboard and serve customers
What you will bring:
  • Experience with startups in B2B SaaS space
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relate field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including digital/or related marketing experience
  •  3+ years’ experience in SaaS
  • Significant experience with strategic planning and project management
  • Ability to travel frequently to Vancouver, BC
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Well rounded ability to market to audiences varying from start ups later stage businesses, and enterprises
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and the importance of integrating marketing into product and customer success
  • Experience building and managing a team to execute all marketing functions including brand, content and performance marketing
