The Linux Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for supporting and developing the company’s IT server infrastructure. You will implement best practice solutions and use your knowledge of Linux to improve processes, designs and services. You will have the opportunity to work with the team on complex technical problems and implement solutions as you manage and support our enterprise scale Linux server infrastructure.
You are a fast learner, constant researcher, and effective communicator who can deal with rapid changing priorities and requirements.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide technical expertise on system administration and operational support on task automation, deployment maintenance, and testing/implementing new systems.
  • Creating accurate, detailed technical procedures & installation instructions
  • Administration of classified *nix infrastructure requirements and best practices
  • Point person for Level 3 escalation issues and define and lead problem resolution workflows for Unix related service desk items
What you bring:
  • 6+ years of Enterprise Linux administration
  • Professional experience writing automated deployment and configuration management scripts. (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Python)
  • Expert experience in shell scripting with BASH
  • Experience of Java/C/C++ code, dynamic libraries, linking, compiling and other processes
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity issues
