Their Engineering Team is searching for a Staff Engineer to advance the department and help the organization in pursuit of it’s vision and goals.

What you will be doing:
  • You get to build a product that will make the lives of real people easier
  • Collaborate with Principal and other Staff Engineers to strategically plan vital technology projects.
  • You are going to be a key player in designing the overall systems architecture and as well as establish best practices for software development
  • You will be building frameworks, processes, and tools that support developer adoption of standards
  • Act as a right hand in supporting engineering leads, managers and directors to advance the engineering strategy across the company and aid in developing a deep expertise in areas of core competency.
  • You will seek to find new ways to increase the leverage of the organizations engineering talent and technology.
What you have:
  • 6-10 years experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript and polyglot 
  • Interested working on complex technical problems and solving them in a scalable way 
  • Ability to operate and monitor highly available systems in production
  • Curiosity and excitement about investigating emerging technologies and finding opportunities to innovate. 
  • A love for architecting and creating reusable components and frameworks that can help your fellow teammates quickly and reliably build solid software
  • Experience with web application and/or distributed systems development
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • B.S., M.S., and/or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or equivalent.
