Their Engineering Team is searching for an Engineering Team Lead to advance the department and help the organization in pursuit of it’s vision and goals.

What you will be doing:
  • You will be hands-on in both development (the primary toolkit includes Python and Django, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript) and engineering management 
  • You will be mentoring and managing a team of up to five engineers
  • Taking the lead in the architecture, development, and maintenance of product systems and software
  • Assessing opportunities for technical advancement of product architecture and ecosystem
  • Advancing the technical aptitude of the development team
  • Leading project scoping, planning and sequencing of the execution of work
  • Managing the Agile development process
What you have:
  • You have 5-7 years of experience building software at a senior level
  • You have experience leading an engineering team
  • You take pride and `Interest in leading technical projects from inception to delivery
  • Able to operate and monitor highly available systems in production, or willing to quickly learn how to do so
  • Experience with web application and/or distributed systems development
  • B.S., M.S., and/or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or equivalent
