Reporting to the Recruiting Lead, the Recruiter for Recruiting Social will identify candidates for our clients and maintain robust pipelines. This will start out as a contract role, but has the potential to move to a permanent position post contract. Some of our previous and present US and Canadian clients include: Amazon, Lululemon, Omnicom, Grindr, OpenX, Activision,The Rubicon Project, Steel House, The WPP group and many more!

You must have:
  • 2 years of recruiting experience
  • A background in candidate sourcing - using Booleans, utilizing and trying new tools and extensions, reaching out to passive and active candidates, and seeking out opportunities to deepen your sourcing skills
  • Previous experience recruiting for technical roles

What you’ll do:
  • You’ll be responsible for full life cycle recruiting, engaging with applicants from the screening phase to offer negotiation
  • Actively sourcing qualified candidates using internet databases, social media and employee referrals
  • Conducting prescreening interviews and coordinating onsite interviews - acting as the liaison between the candidate and staff
  • Conducting interview debriefs with the Recruiting Lead to drive hiring decisions
  • Writing job descriptions more compelling than this one
  • Asking questions that provide insight into the candidate experience while keeping them engaged
  • Providing a great candidate experience
  • And finally, being an ambassador of our brand by networking through social media and in our community, publishing articles, and maintaining professional and technical knowledge.

Our Vancouver Office:
As a Recruiter working out of our Vancouver office, you’ll work alongside three other experienced team members - we love corgis, bugs, tacos and hiking! Our work week normally includes a couple days of remote work with a few days at our downtown office, which is pretty awesome! We provide many opportunities to learn - in-house training, Lynda.com courses, regular lunch and learns, and opportunities to do AIRS certifications. And finally, we follow a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy, so be ready to bring your own laptop and cellphone to work.
