People Insights & Analytics Developer
Vancouver, BC, Canada
This role reports to the Manager of Insights & Analytics and will be responsible for summarizing data to encourage positive change. You will be supporting global teams to help develop KPIs which measure the company’s successes and failures of their initiatives. You will have the ability to take on a brand new role within the company and build something that has never existed with world class quality that will resonate with the teams and company.

What you will be doing:
  • Creating regular ad-hoc reports (training, benefits, recruiting, compensation, etc) for the global People & Culture teams
  • Training internal how to use the analytic tools that will answer their business questions
  • Developing creative data visualizations and building data models by using BI tools like Tableau or Qlikview
  • Gathering feedback from cross functional teams within numerous different projects
  • Leading the ongoing improvement of reporting and analysis processes
  • Developing a measurement of culture and overseeing the analytics documentation (variable maps, data dictionary, etc)
  • Collaborating with business partners to determine the requirements for data, reports, training, data quality, and performance
  • Collaborating with business partners to establish scope and requirements for reports, data, service levels, performance, and training
  • Translating requirements for data warehouse integrations
  • Analyzing big data to drive the company forwards with recommendations
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, Avature, Taleo, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience using integration technologies and Enterprise Master Data
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
