Their disruptive technology crunches and consolidates huge amounts of data coming from heterogeneous network equipment and IT, and turns them into actionable insights in real-time.
 
We are seeking a key individual to join their team of experts focused on network and systems security, unix administrations and systems design.
 
Integration Engineer – Full Time
Toronto, Ontario
1-year contract with opportunity to extend
 
Working with one of our client’s tier-one Canadian customers, you will play a key role in delivering on the solution that enables telecom operators to produce statistical analysis based on their subscriber details. In advance to deployment with the customer, this role will be brought to our client’s headquarters in Paris (France) for initial training to ensure you’re set up for success.
 
Once in the role, your primary responsibilities:
  • Participate and bringing your technical knowledge to the setup and implementation process
  • Testing of the solution and resolution of any problems (with the development team)
  • Customer Support for the installation of the product as well as technical assistance within the support tool
  • Initiating preventive maintenance actions to ensure a good stability of the installed solution
  • Preparing and upgrading the solution when a new version is to be deployed
  • Providing the trainings on the products and new features
  • Identifying opportunities or department concerned to ensure success and growth
 
Required knowledge and skills
  • An Engineering diploma or equivalent
  • Previous telecommunications industry experience
  • Significant experience in Linux
  • Good knowledge of network programming IP/TCP and SMPP, UCP, MM7, Sigtran protocols
  • Fluent in Python and Bash
  • Knowledge of VAS platforms: Gateway, Routers, SMSC, MMSC, IN etc.
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Good communication and customer relationship building skills

This opportunity is based in Toronto. Initial training will take place in Paris.
